Motivation
Kim was excited at the idea of planning her own wedding. In the lead up, although she was extremely organized, there were times that were stressful and she found that unlike herself, others did not consider the small details. Kim was continually told she was too particular, when she thought her requests were simple.
On the day, although everything went perfectly smooth, Kim felt that if she had someone else making sure everything was running to plan, she could have enjoyed the day far more.
Kim often chose suppliers who were recommended by friends and as a result of her wedding, saw an opportunity to negotiate with recommended suppliers on an ongoing basis, resulting in a better outcome for all involved. Kim loved the industry and the emotion of such an event, that she decided to help others with their weddings.
Qualifications
Kim is an experienced event manager in private and corporate events, with a passion for creating personal events. She has a Bachelor of Business from UTS, with a Marketing Major and Sub-Majors in Advanced Advertising and Tourism Management.
Approach
Developing a strong relationship with her clients ensures the delivery of an exceptional event, in line with the couple's expectations. Kim’s connection to her work is heartfelt, the couple’s experience touches her as well, and she feels a great sense of satisfaction from her work.
Kim has a warm and enthusiastic approach, matched with finely tuned organisational skills and an eye for detail. Kim aims to create an understanding and open relationship with couples, where they feel they can be honest, whatever their desire, dream or budget.
